Justis Huni's promoter Dean Lonergan has bizarrely called Paul Gallen 'Eeyore' ahead of the duo's boxing match.
Speaking during the pre-fight press conference, Lonergan also compared his client Huni to famous Australian race horse Winx in another the parting shot at long-time rival Gallen.
Aussie Olympian-to-be Huni is set to lock horns with former rugby league player Gallen this Wednesday (AEST) before jetting off to Tokyo for the Games.
And in the press conference ahead of their heavyweight bout, things got a little heated - as expected.
Lonergan - who has had a rather frosty relationship with Gallen - teed off on the ex-Cronulla Sharks captain, comparing him to loveable Winnie-the-Pooh character 'Eeyore' who happens to be a donkey.
"For those of us in the boxing world, we know exactly what this is... We're in a two horse race," he said.
"This is Winx... this is Eeyore" :joy::joy::joy:

"On my left this (pointing to Huni) is Winx. This is probably the best prospect to ever come out of Australia, certainly the best prospect at heavyweight.
"But if this is Winx in a two-horse race, this is Eeyore (pointing to Gallen).
"No matter how hard little Eeyore trains, no matter how fast his little legs go, it's not going to help when he's up against Winx."
Gallen laughed at the time of the odd comparison, but it wasn't long before he bit back at Lonergan.
"I've been called a donkey, a pig, I've been called everything," Gallen replied.
"I got my circle, I got my family that's all I need to be concerned about, what they think about me.
"I'm well prepared for this fight. I think Dean knows I'm not really concerned about what he says or what anyone else thinks of me."
Lonergan may have got on the wrong end of Gallen, but that was nothing in comparison for what the former NRL hard man was about to serve up for Huni.
Gallen had no hesitation in launching a scathing attack on the 22-year-old before labelling him a "f**king coward".
"They're overlooking me without a doubt. I've read all their comments. Their number one concern is the Olympics," he said.
"I'm here to tell all of you - Justis you're included in your team - I'm going to do everything I can to make sure you don't go to the Olympics.
"Whether it's break your jaw, break your face, break your arm. I don't care what it is. I'm going to do everything I can to break something in you so you don't go to the Olympics.
"That dream since you've been seven years old is gonna be f***ed."
Despite recently knocking out former world champ Lucas Browne to extend his unblemished record to 11-0-1, Gallen is still the underdog heading into the bout with Huni emerging as the bookies' favourite.
