Anthony Mundine In Court For Flouting Mask Rules At Local Bunnings

Anthony Mundine has appeared in court for reportedly breaching public health orders by not wearing a mask at a Bunnings in Sydney.

The allegations suggest that Mundine entered the local hardware store not wearing a mandatory mask and also refused to sign in by scanning the QR code at the entrance.

According to authorities, the retired boxer claimed he had a medical exemption not to wear a mask.

Reports suggest police were called to the store at the time, but Mundine had left by that point having already made a purchase.

An official investigation into the matter was launched and local cops turned up to his home shortly after and issued him a $1000 fine, ordering for him to appear in court.

It's understood the 46-year-old was charged for not complying with COVID-19 regulations.

Mundine's lawyer John Giang represented him in court as no plea was entered on his behalf, resulting in a six-week adjournment.

The former world champion hasn't shied away from sharing his views on the pandemic in the past - in particular, the lockdown and vaccine itself.

"My people don't get conned in getting the shot!" he posted on Facebook a few months back.

"Do your research it's a death wish!

"F**k the travel for now we fight that s**t in court it's all fear mongering.

"Those who already got it don't get another one & look to get the antidote suramin (African root)!!!"

Back in May he made headlines after suggesting the vaccine is an "evil plan" to reduce the world's population, describing it as "blatant genocide".

"There evil plans are to depopulate the world to 1 billion people we are at 7/8 billion now ...this is blatant genocide on the human race with a virus that has 99.7% recovery rate!!

"I'll let my immune system go to work cause if you take the shot your immune system becomes paralysed! DON'T TAKE IT ! DO YOUR RESEARCH."

The boxer, who only hung up the gloves earlier this year, was also seen attending the anti-lockdown rally in Sydney.
