WWE superstar, and one half of the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions, Bayley, has spoke about how she would love for intergender matches to make their back into the WWE.

Speaking on Monday evening ahead of Raw, one half of the 'Boss n Hug Connection' explained that she is eager for mixed competition to make it back into the WWE.

"I would love for intergender matches to start happening again, it happened in the past when you had Lita teaming with The Hardy Boyz and Eddie (Guerrero) getting involved with Chyna, with things happening like Nia Jax in the Men's Royal Rumble there's a possibility there and I would love any part of that.

"I think the men are just as excited for the women and it helps push them too. One you see someone giving it their all in the ring and getting attention, it pushes everyone, the men have been nothing but supportive of the opportunities we've received so far."

Jax, who will be teaming with Tamina to battle Bayley and partner Sasha Banks for the women's tag titles at Fastlane, has also been involved with former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose recently, with the former Raw Women's Champion confronting 'The Lunatic Fringe' the night after the Royal Rumble.

However, Bayley is ready for Jax on Sunday, a woman she has a storied history with. The pair have frequently battled on NXT and Raw over the last few years, with their NXT Women's Championship match at Takeover: London still regarded as a career highlight for the pair.

"She's tough, really tough. She has the size advantage and we've had so many battles over NXT and Raw but I've never truly conquered her yet. I can learn as many techniques as I want but her strength will always overpower mine, so for me it's about finding different creative ways to get around her."

Despite only holding the titles for two weeks, Bayley and Banks have already encouraged all challengers to step up, even those from other brands.

The duo even recently went back to NXT to welcome all challengers. Bayley spoke very fondly of her former rival turned tag partner Banks and attributed the pairs success to their shared passion for wrestling.

"We both have the same drive, the same determination, we both wanted the same things for the women's division and what we perceived wrestling as. We have good in ring chemistry but at the core of it all, we really connect as people and we really are best friends so that helps with our matches."

Two women who could stake a claim for the tag titles are Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, the other finalists in the Elimination Chamber match on February 17th.

"We want to wrestle everybody in this division, we want to prove we're the best. We would love to have a one on one tag match with Sonya and Mandy just to prove that we are the dominant team because those two are very close friends as well."

A hot topic within the WWE in the last few weeks is the ongoing Twitter war between 'The Man' Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, despite Lynch's removal from one of Wrestlemania's main events.

In spite of the traction the insults have gotten, the former Raw Women's Champion doesn't think she'll be following in their footsteps.

"It's a great tool, especially when you don't get the TV time (to interact with fans). I just wish there were other ways to do it, I know how it is you can't always get on TV to say what you want to say or what you really feel.

"If that's the way you wanna take it, then go ahead, it's not really my cup of tea but I do enjoy reading."

With Wrestlemania around the corner, any wrestler should have a grand entrance planned for the 'Showcase Of The Immortals', but Bayley kept tight lipped on her plans for New York.

"We have a few ideas but I don't wanna spoil it, obviously we're focused on Nia and Tamina on Sunday but I don't wanna spoil anything for Wrestlemania, just know that we want to make it very special."

There is a slight chance that Sasha Banks could call in a family favour... From Snoop Dogg! The legendary rapper is the cousin of 'The Legit Boss', with Snoop being a part of Banks' entrance at Wrestlemania 32, rapping along to her entrance music.

However, Bayley suggests there isn't much chance of a repeat, even mentioning she's tried to get rock band Paramore for an entrance in the past.

"Man I would love that! But I don't think we could get that, I'd love for Paramore to perform for us but I've tried for that in the past I don't think we can do that."
