It was only fitting that on the 25th anniversary of Raw last night, arguably WWE's biggest ever star, Stone Cold Steve Austin, turned up and raised some hell.
Along with a slew of legends such as The Undertaker and D-Generation X, the Texas Rattlesnake's appearance at the landmark show was announced in advance but there was an element of mystery as to what his involvement was going to be.
However, when Vince McMahon started to run his mouth at the start of Raw, unhappy with his plaque from children Shane and Stephanie, it became clear that Austin was about to enter the fray.

The glass promptly shattered and the Hall of Famer stormed to the ring. First, he opened up a can of 'whoop-ass' on Shane before cracking open a couple of Steveweisers with Vince, the man whose life he made a living hell throughout the Attitude Era.
As the pair embraced and raised their hands aloft at the Barclays Centre, fans were just waiting for Austin to land one more stunner on his boss.
He didn't disappoint, displaying his middle finger to the chairman of the board, kicking him in the gut and dropping him to the deck with his deadly finishing manoeuvre.
Of course, more beers were chucked in to the ring for the six-time world champion to guzzle but he fancied raising a little more hell - hitting another stunner on poor Shane, who had just regained consciousness to share a bev with Austin.
Some rivalries are just never-ending. It was only right that the biggest and most memorable feud in Raw history kicked off the event last night and boy was it a trip down memory lane!
