Triple H and former friend Batista fought a tough No Holds Barred match at Wrestlemania 35 with the former DX and Evolution leader's in ring career on the line.
Once upon a time Dave Batista looked up to Triple H and the 14 time WWE champion was a mentor to the younger man in their stable Evolution. But ever since 'The Animal' took 'Trips' on for his world title at Wrestlemania 21 there has been an intense rivalry between the pair.
A few months ago Batista, who's been out of WWE for the past five years, took aim at his former friend for having never beaten him inside the squared circle but nothing came of it.
Earlier this year the man who is now more famous for playing Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy films turned up on RAW for Ric Flair's 70th birthday party and attacked the Nature Boy to send a message to 'the Game.'
That led to the founder of NXT accepting a challenge to face his former charge at the Showcase of the Immortals, Wrestlemania 35, in which he'd have to retire from in ring competition if Batista beat him.
The pair had a hard hitting No Holds Barred match that saw tables, ring steps and HHH's trusty equaliser- his sledgehammer- be used by the two men.
At the end Flair turned up and his distraction allowed Triple H to win.
