Just look at the size of him!

World famous pro-wrestler John Cena posted photos and a short clip to Twitter yesterday showing he's just as ripped as ever as he pumps iron ahead of the WWE's return to Shanghai for their third straight live show in China, which is set to feature former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.

The 41-year-old is in ridiculously good shape for his age, and while he may not be old enough to be your dad, he can definitely bench press him.

Cena first started lifting weights when he was 12 due to bullying, but in just a couple of years, he had dramatically grown in size and the bullying subsided.

Before the WWE Cena was a competitive bodybuilder but has since gone on to win WWE's world champion title 16 times.

In an interview with Business Insider in 2017, he revealed his workout schedule.

"Four days on, three days off usually, two days of compound strength movements, which is like multiple joint stuff and two days of push-pull, with the goal of being stronger every day," he said.

His intense workout routine is matched by a high protein diet broken down into seven meals.

  • Meal 1 - Oatmeal with applesauce and raisins, 2 whole eggs and 6 egg whites.
  • Meal 2 - Protein bar.
  • Meal 3 - Brown rice with vegetables and 2 chicken breasts.
  • Meal 4 - Whole wheat pita bread with tuna.
  • Meal 5 - Banana and a whey protein shake.
  • Meal 6 - Pasta or brown rice, vegetables, salad with chicken or fish.
  • Meal 7 - Low fat cottage cheese along with a protein shake

While he is most well-known for wrestling, Cena is in high demand having recently featured in the films Daddy's Home 2, Blockers, Ferdinand and Bumblebee as well as an advert for Crocs, of all companies.

What a man!
