WWE superstar The Miz is proud of the work he was able to do with the Intercontinental championship but doesn't really care about the possibility of breaking Chris Jericho's record nine reigns with the title.
In recent years, the A-Lister has really come into his own and furthered his association with the prestigious championship - which he has held on eight separate occasions.
The 37-year old is one away from levelling Jericho's record for the amount of times a WWE superstar has held the strap, and two away from overtaking him.
But when speaking exclusively to SPORTbible over in the UK as part of WWE's jam-packed European tour, Miz wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it all.
"I feel like I have done so much in WWE that we just make up stuff now!" he said.
"It's like, 'I've had more combined days than every superstar besides one to be the Intercontinental champion!'.
"Is it cool? Sure. Do we make a bigger deal of it now, with social media? Absolutely.
"I wouldn't even be able to tell you unless people tell me on the internet, 'Hey, guess what - you have x amount of combined days until you are beating Pedro Morales for the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion, or, 'You need one more reign to tie Chris Jericho!'.
"I think you guys care about it a little bit more than I do."
In his promos on WWE TV, Miz as a character would regularly preach about how he made the IC title relevant and prestigious yet the man himself says it was anything but a one-man job - plenty of superstars played their part in elevating the iconic championship.
"The Miz would tell you that, 'I'm very proud, I made it the most prestigious and honourable title in all of WWE' - Mike would tell you that it wasn't just me, it was every person I stepped in the ring with," he admitted.
"We all had the same goal in mind, I think every superstar has that same goal, to make the Intercontinental Championship as prestigious as it was when we were kids.
"I remember the Ultimate Warrior, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, Shawn Michaels - anytime they got in the ring with the WWE champion, you didn't know who was going to win and that's kind of the way I wanted it to be now.
"I felt like I got it to that level, along with a lot of superstars helping out along the way to get it there."
The Miz lost the title to Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match at Wrestlemania 34 and failed to reclaim it from 'The Kingslayer' in a tremendous show-stealing match at Backlash.
Now back on Smackdown, Miz believes Rollins is carrying on from where he left off over in Raw and showered praise on the 32-year old.
"I think Seth is doing a fantastic job with the Intercontinental championship. He's had it for maybe a month and has probably defended it more times than I have in the past year!
"He's on a hot-streak right now. His song says 'Burn it down!' and every time he goes out there that's exactly what he tries to do. He elevates superstars every time they are in the ring; I saw a match with Mojo Rawley and it was the best match I have ever seen Mojo in, in his entire career.
"That just shows you not only how good Mojo is, he was able to showcase, but how good Seth Rollins really is. I don't think he can elevate it any more than I already have but I think he'll keep it at that same level."
