Are you one of the millions of people around the world who are both enjoying big Dave Batista's run as a Hollywood comic book hero but also really wish he'd just spinebuster and Batista Bomb the fuck out of someone? Then prepare to get very fucking hyped.

Before big Dave was a Guardian Of The Galaxy and one of the blokes who pursued James Bond across Europe in an attempt to separate 007's head from his shoulders, he was a multiple time world champion in WWE, lifting the company's World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Title twice.

After some time off from the squared circle, The Animal returned in 2014, winning the Royal Rumble before doing the honours for Daniel Bryan in the main event of WrestleMania 30, allowing Bryan to capture Randy Orton's WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match. Batista then briefly reprised Evolution with Orton and Triple H in two losing efforts to The Shield, at Extreme Rules and Payback before once again departing the world of sports entertainment.

Batista's last run with WWE wasn't a particularly happy one, with a planned world title run shelved in favour of Bryan being given the belt, while Batista was heavily booed by a disapproving WWE audience.

However, since 2014, the former world champ has established himself as one of the most marketable and likeable actors in Hollywood, most recently starring in Blade Runner 2049, with roles in upcoming Avengers films to come.

This success on the silver screen has warmed many fans back up to Batista, who was one of WWE's most over acts during his first main event run with the company between 2005 and 2008.

Now, we may be on the verge of seeing a monstrous comeback for the former Leviathan.

PWStream on Twitter today tweeted that Batista, speaking on Jim Ross' podcast, revealed that he has been in discussions with Vince McMahon about a full time return to the company, which would also include working house shows as well as television and PPVs.

Quite frankly, we're hyped as fuck at the potential of Big Dave coming back and running right into the likes of Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Finn Balor and maybe even Brock Lesnar.

Would you welcome a Batista return or would you rather Big Dave kept his talents to the silver screen?
