John Cena returned to the Grandest Stage of Them All when he arrived as the Doctor of Thuganomics at Wrestlemania for the first time since 2004 to embarrass Elias in the ring.
There was a time when there was one thing you could guarantee at any WWE pay-per-view and that was an appearance by John Cena, for sometime you could even go further and say he'd be in the main event or title match.
In recent times Cena has become a superstar outside of the WWE universe, as well as in it, and has been active in the ring less and less, as he's acted more and more.
This year the 16 WWE champion wasn't scheduled to appear at Wrestlemania but when he turned up on Saturday night at the Hall of Fame ceremony, to induct the Warrior Award winner, then it was always possible he'd turn up at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
With Elias in the ring giving a three man band concert, made up exclusively of himself, Cena came to interrupt but he didn't come as his normal self. Instead he rewound the clock and turned up as the Doctor of Thuganomics, who then drop some magic bars:
