It's all happening for WWE superstar Alexa Bliss at the moment.

She's on the verge of a rematch with WWE Raw Women's Champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey at Hell In A Cell on Sunday. Also weeks away is Evolution, WWE's first ever all-female pay-per-view event. At Evolution Alexa competes in a dream match with the legendary Trish Stratus. SPORTbible spoke to "Little Miss Bliss" ahead of the most important few weeks of her career.

WWE's women have undergone a revolution that has seen them engage in Royal Rumbles, pay-per-view main events and Hell In A Cell matches in recent years. Right at the forefront of that movement has been Alexa Bliss, a five-time Women's champion and focal point of the new era for females in WWE. Bliss sees this momentum carrying the women's roster even further.

"I'm really excited about Evolution. I think the women deserve to have the spotlight for a long time coming. The fact that we're getting our own pay-per-view is amazing. I think what would be next is our women to main event Wrestlemania. I don't think we're far off from that because we have such a talented and diverse roster. I think that main eventing Wrestlemania is very possible for us."

Though her eye must surely be on headlining such an occasion, Bliss would not be drawn on a potential opponent should she main event WWE's number one showcase.

"I don't know I guess it just depends on who's on the roster at that time. Whether it's a legend or someone from NXT. I don't know, I don't really have an answer to that. I used to say Trish but now that I have that match at Evolution, maybe a rematch!"

Trish Stratus is at the forefront of Alexa's mind as she prepares to square off with a wrestler she idolised growing up. The legendary purveyor of "Stratusfaction" is a big part of the reason Bliss chose to become a professional wrestler in the first place.

"I used to watch Trish growing up. Her and Rey Mysterio were my favourites. She was this beautiful athletic woman. What girl wouldn't look up to that? I loved her mannerisms in the ring and her confidence and she's definitely someone I've tried to model myself after."

Alexa Bliss' name first came to the attention of the WWE Universe during her time on NXT. A finishing school-come-underground wrestling promotion, it allowed Alexa to hone her craft in front of a WWE Network audience.

"NXT is the reason I am the way I am. I came into this untrained. I never took a bump, I was never in a ring before my first day in NXT. NXT gives you all the tools to succeed and you get out what you put in. As long as you put the work in you will succeed. They give us every tool to succeed and they have amazing coaches there. I owe everything to NXT. NXT works and it's awesome."

Alexa Bliss has come a long way since those initial baby steps in WWE, with arguably her biggest career moments still ahead of her. Her matches with Ronda Rousey and Trish Stratus will be an absolute must-watch.

Watch WWE Hell in a Cell live on the WWE Network or on Sky Sports Box Office at Midnight on Sunday, September 16.
