The fourth time will hopefully be a charm on April 7th when Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov finally face each other in the octagon. However the American's weird training methods could yet put an end to that.
Boxing and UFC fights often have to be rearranged because of an injury to one of the competitors, it's just the nature of the two sports. No one knows that as well as Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov who have had three bouts previously cancelled.

The pair should finally get in the octagon together at the beginning of next month in New York when they headline UFC 223. With Conor McGregor inactive for so long his lightweight title is due to be on the line.

Khabib famously has issues with his weight and this could be cause for concern for the fight going ahead but Ferguson has arguably given us the biggest reason to doubt it with his training techniques.
The UFC posted a video of the American showing off his unusual training of kicking and punching a solid steel pole and claiming that he is going to break Khabib's arm:
Of course beating up a steel pole is absolutely nothing. The pole just stays in the ground, doesn't move and is man made in the first place. But a bear, now that's an opponent.

The fight could be an instant classic, once it finally goes ahead, and if McGregor is to return to the octagon anytime soon it could be to face the winner of this one as they would have the belt that McGregor never gave up.
