October 6th promises to be one hell of a night when Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov finally meet in the octagon for the UFC lightweight title. If you aren't already excited for it then BT Sport's promo might change your mind.
Fans of wrestling will all know that there is simply nothing like a good promo package. A montage of the history of a rivalry leading up to this point, music in the background and the odd sound clip of what's been said.

Whilst The Rock and Austin had one of the greatest rivalries of all time it may well be bettered by Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov as the pair get ready to face at UFC 229 in just 11 days.

The pair had history before this year but when McGregor attacked the bus that Khabib was on ahead of UFC 223 in April, over an argument between the Russian and McGregor's friend Artem Lobov, the rivalry grew to Austin and Rock levels.
Now BT Sport have come up with a promo that rivals the famous video from 17 years ago:
McGregor's last MMA fight is nearly two years ago, when he beat Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title, and since then it's even been a year since he had any fight, having taken on Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring.

Khabib's last outing was to beat Al Iaquinta, though it was supposed to be Tony Ferguson, to become the champion after McGregor was stripped of the title for being inactive.
It's certainly set to be the toughest fight of McGregor's career and he's gone on the offensive already in the press conference last week.
Things will certainly hot up over the next week or so leading up to the weigh in and eventually the fight.
