Paulie Malignaggi has continued his feud with Conor McGregor by stating that the Irishman doesn't want the fight and that he'd 'beat the sh*t' out of McGregor and make him history.

If the only reason Conor McGregor retired was too spend more time riling up people who dislike him already then it's fair to say the Irishman has had the most successful retirement in the history of sport, and he's only been gone 10 days.

Somehow it's just over a week ago that the former two weight UFC champion decided to hang up his gloves, tweeting that he was retiring from MMA.

However in the short amount of time that he's been gone from the sport the Notorious has been in the spotlight even more than during his career, if that's even possible.

On Thursday, after more feuding with Khabib Nurmagomedov, he tweeted to say he'd see his old foe back in the octagon but it's not only the Russian who he' been heating up his rivalry with.

Earlier in the week McGregor posted 17 tweets showing pictures of him hitting Paulie Malignaggi in the face during their sparring session ahead of the Irishman's one professional boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather.

Now Malignaggi has hit back. Speaking to Luke Thomas on The MMA Hour the retired boxer said:

"The only guy that doesn't want to make Malignaggi-McGregor is McGregor and anybody directly involved with him because they understand the game is over once that fight happens."

Speaking to the MMA Hour the 38 year old added, "The show, the game, the flaunting, everything's over.

"Because once I beat the shit out of you after all the past we've had and all the lies you've told, you're done, you're history.

"Nobody will ever want to remember you again. So you can't have that. Not even his Proper whiskey would sell anymore.

"I'm gonna embarrass you. I'm gonna emasculate you while I'm doing it. And you're not gonna like it.

"It's not just gonna be a loss, it's gonna be an embarrassment. People will not forgive you for the loss, not just because of the embarrassment of it, but because you lied to them.

"Your fans will forgive you if they're true fans, for losing. They will not forgive you for lying to the. And because of the lie, they would never forgive him.

"So no matter for all the money in the world, Conor cannot fight me."

Malignaggi and McGregor's rivalry has been sparked up again because the American is now part of a bare knuckle promotion which the Irishman's teammate Artem Lobov is also part of, the pair clashed at a recent media day and could face in the near future.

Would McGregor be able to beat Malignaggi in the ring?
