Conor McGregor Deletes Another Social Media Swipe At Khabib Nurmagomedov

The two UFC fighters rivalry has heated up once more over their fines earlier this week, handed down following end of UFC 229 melee.

If anyone thought that the Nevada Athletic Commission giving Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor their punishments for UFC 229 would end the feud then they were very much wrong. The Irishman has taken his latest dig and then deleted it.

I can only imagine that even when they're both in their 80s Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will still be tweeting insults about their fight in October 2018.

The pair had a heated rivalry based largely on personal insults before it got even stronger when Khabib cornered one of McGregor's teammates and the Irishman flew to America and attacked the bus that the Russian was on ahead of UFC 223.

When the two men were then set to face at UFC 229 the insults became even more personal and targeted as things heated up. After the fight it all kicked off with the Eagle jumping into the crowd to attack another McGregor teammate with his own teammates entering the octagon to attack the Notorious.

Earlier this week the pair were punished as both were suspended for six months. That hasn't ended things though with McGregor instantly having a pop on social media:

Khabib responded on Instagram posting a video with the caption, "Nothing else matters."

And now McGregor has once again responded on Twitter but he's deleted the tweet since. Taking another shot at the fact he was the one to land the better shots on Khabib's brother when he climbed into the octagon after the fight:

Abubakar Nurmagomedov was given a one year ban and fined $250k and Khabib's fine was $500k but McGregor's was only $50k.

UFC writer Ariel Helwani reported that the Eagle is unlikely to fight again until his brother's ban is over.
