Conor McGregor's responded to Jose Aldo's brutal victory at UFC Fight Night.

Jose Aldo made it two wins from two bouts following his title defeat to Max Holloway, by beating top contender Renato Moicano in stunning fashion.

The ex-UFC featherweight champion produced a virtuoso performance as he secured a second round stoppage.

After Aldo recorded his 10th UFC victory, Conor McGregor sent him a message.

"What an amazing atmosphere at UFC Brazil tonight. I would LOVE to compete there for all the passionate Brazilian fans at some stage of my career. I was so close to securing a bout in Rio last year. It was essentially a done deal. Maybe next time. Ui Vai Morrer!!!! I'm still here," he Tweeted.

McGregor's alluding to a bout against Rafael dos Anjos which eventually collapsed. But he's still craving for a fight in Brazil.

Aldo's hoping for a rematch, and he's willing to move up to lightweight.

"If I have that opportunity at the division above, that way I won't have to suffer through the weight cut, I think it would be a great fight," the Brazilian legend said in his post-fight interview.

"I think in the first fight, we weren't even (able to) show my work, and he connected a great punch.

"But if we have another opportunity, I think the story's gonna be different.

"I always believed in myself," he added. "I know that I could always do it. I have a lot of potential. I have qualities as a champion. I respect everyone. I want to test myself and do other sports. That's another dream of mine."

Current 145 lbs king Max Holloway also issued a message to Aldo.
