Paulie Malignaggi Challenges Conor McGregor To A Bare Knuckle Fight

Paulie Malignaggi has challenged Conor McGregor to a bare knuckle fight after signing a contract with Bare Knuckle FC (BKFC).

Here we go again.

Malignaggi and McGregor were embroiled in a bitter-feud during the lead up to the Irishman fighting Floyd Mayweather.

The UFC mega-star drafted in Malignaggi for sparring and released footage of their training sessions together, including a video of him flooring the American.

They've been going back and forth ever since with Malignaggi reigniting their rivalry by branding McGregor a 'coward' while issuing a challenge.

He's called out McGregor to a bare knuckle fight.

"Conor the coward @TheNotoriousMMA with 2 minute rounds I'm sure even YOU can't quit at this! Time to settle it.l @bareknucklefc," he posted on social media.

The 38-year-old, who is a former two-weight boxing world champion, is excited to be part of BKFC.

"BKFC is the new wave in combat sports. They're doing great things, and I'm very excited to be a part of this organization. I've accomplished some big things in my boxing career, and I look forward to what this next phase brings," he said.

"After a long boxing career, it's easy to miss the limelight and the rush that combat brings. I look forward to getting back in action and the new challenge of fighting for BKFC.

"You understand what it takes to fight a professional boxer with bare hands? I don't think people understand the accuracy a pro boxer has. Any of you MMA f*ckers that want to stop trolling and get in there and do it, I will knock you the f*ck out," he added.

It appears he'll get his wish. Malignaggi is expected to make his debut against McGregor's teammate Artem Lobov, who is making his promotional bow in April versus UFC veteran Jason Knight.
