Khabib Nurmagomedov means business.
After capturing the lightweight title at UFC 223, a bout versus Conor McGregor has been muted with a bout tentatively scheduled for October.
McGregor is awaiting his legal verdict following the mayhem he caused in Brooklyn.

You know, when he attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters by launching a dolly (!!) through a window, injuring Michael Chiesa in the process.
Despite that looming over his head, the Irishman is widely expected to return to the famed Octagon opposite Nurmagomedov, who recorded his 26th professional MMA victory in April.
The Russian is slated to defend his newly-minted belt against McGregor in a hugely anticipated UFC bout.
And ahead of a potential blockbuster meeting, the undefeated lightweight phenom has issued a chilling message.

"I do not yet know who my opponent will be," Nurmagomedov told sport24.ru via Bloody Elbow.
"The fight will likely take place in Las Vegas. I want to fight McGregor; the fans are also waiting for this fight. I hope that Conor wants this fight. He talked a lot but for some reason, as soon as it came down to real negotiations about the fight, he fell silent."
Nurmagomedov added: "In what round will I be able to knock McGregor out? I do not know, and no one can know this. I'm going to destroy him."

McGregor's striking coach Owen Roddy also spoke about the possibility of his star pupil fighting Nurmagomedov.
"I can't confirm anything but it would be great," he told MMANytt via MMA Fighting.
"Conor's training hard, he's always training. He's motivated and he wants to fight, it's just that he gets a few things sorted out and then he sits down and negotiates a good deal for his next fight. I think it will be another big spectacle like they always are. So I'm excited, just like everybody else.
"I don't know but I think [Khabib]'s at the forefront. I always say, Conor wants the biggest fights that he can possibly have and I think, at the moment, Khabib seems to be that guy."
