Whereas Jones last competed at UFC 214. Just like Lesnar, he also won but the fight was ruled a no-contest due to a positive drug test.
As a result, both fighters are currently under USADA infringements.
The WWE superstar still has six months of his ban to run, while Jones is awaiting sentencing after failing a drug test administered in the build-up to his UFC 214 bout versus Daniel Cormier.
However, despite their absence away from the MMA bubble, Lesnar and Jones remain heavily linked with a blockbuster fight inside the famed Octagon.
