Conor McGregor has released new promotional images ahead of his fight with Donald Cerrone and he's looking absolutely shredded.

The Irishman is set to make his return to the Octagon at UFC 246 this weekend when he'll take on 'Cowboy' in the main event.

He's taken to Instagram to post some new photos ahead of the fight and he's in phenomenal shape.

The selection of images include the 31-year-old in his fight gear as well as a smart check suit.

The jump up to welterweight will be McGregor's first fight in that class since taking on Nate Diaz in August 2016.

'Notorious' has cut and gained weight freely throughout his career and the former 'Champ-Champ' is still confident he will defeat his opponent.

If McGregor emerges victorious at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night, he could drop back down to lightweight to get his rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Khabib handed McGregor a loss in his last UFC bout, dominating him in a submission victory at UFC 229 in October 2018.

McGregor discussed a variety of topics with Ariel Helwani on Monday and one of those involved the current lightweight champion.

When discussing how personal their rivalry got, he explained: "Some of the things, maybe, maybe too far. But, hey, it is what it is. And it's the fight business."

"At the end of the day, it went the way it went, and that's it."

Despite this, McGregor needs to remain focused on Cerrone who could spring a surprise on Saturday night.

He's mixed it up with some of the biggest names in the fight game such as Tony Ferguson, Justin Gaethje and Darren Till in the last few years.

Who do you think will win the fight between McGregor and Cerrone on Saturday night?
