Jorge Masvidal told UFC boss Dana White to "open up the cheque book" and make a big-money fight against Nate Diaz.
The 34-year-old has demanded a big pay-per-view clash and a fight purse to match in his next contest.
Diaz made his UFC return on Saturday night in Anaheim as he beat Anthony Pettis in the co-main event at UFC 241 andthen called out Masvidal.

And when asked about his next fight, Masvidal said: "Nate Diaz above all because he's the biggest paycheck.
"And one of the fights that I would like because I think that goes down in history as something that everybody here would pay their hard-earned money to see.
"My next paycheck is going to reflect the breakthrough that I've done. For a fact. And if it doesn't, there is going to be a f**king problem."
Masvidal swept aside Ben Askren at UFC 239 in July with a flying knee inside five seconds - the quickest ever knockout in history.

And the Florida welterweight is adamant he's ready to become a main-event star in the UFC after that stunning KO victory.
He said: "If they open up the check book, I will fight King Kong in his prime.
"All they gotta do is open up that check book. You guys all know the reason why you guys are here right now is to get an interview off of me, to put it online to make people go click-bait on it. Obviously I'm generating traction.
"Me and my management will do whatever the f**k we think is the best option for us."

Diaz, meanwhile, insists he would fight Masvidal next for a self-titled belt called 'the baddest mothef*cker in the game'.
He said: "I'd like to defend it against Jorge Masvidal. Baddest motherf**kers, that's how we're going to do this.
"Jorge Masvidal had a good last fight. All respect to the man, but there ain't no gangsters in this game anymore.

"There ain't nobody that done it right but me and him. I know my man's a gangster, but he ain't no West Coast gangster."
