Gareth Southgate has called upon Callum Wilson for the Three Lions' upcoming games following his recent form for Bournemouth.

Wilson has bagged six times in the Premier League already this season and is only one goal behind front-runners Hazard, Sergio Aguero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 26-year-old earned his only Under-21 call cap for England four years ago against France when Southgate was in charge.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Lewis Dunk and Michael Keane have also been named in the squad to face USA and Croatia.

Fabian Delph, Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard return from injuries, while Ross Barkley's continued form at Chelsea earns him his second call-up in a row.

However, there was no room for Derby's Mason Mount and Leicester's James Maddison, but Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho keeps his place.

Rooney is also named in the squad but will only feature in the game against the States as it was revealed last week that the match will be named 'The Wayne Rooney Foundation International' in honour of the former Manchester United strikers' charity.

The Wembley arch will also be lit gold, the colour of Rooney's charity, as it is reported the match will raise £500,000 for children charities.

Speaking at todays press conference, Southgate said: "There have been ongoing discussions since Wayne Rooney retired about paying tribute to him and his England career, which has been phenomenal in terms of the number of matches he played and being our record goal scorer.

"Those discussions started over 12 months ago. I was quite happy for the tribute to before the World Cup but Wayne did not want to detract from the team at that time, so now we have the opportunity to pay that tribute."

The Three Lions are 1/4 to defeat the USA next Thursday (15th) and the Americans are 11/1 to win the friendly.

England are 5/6 to beat Croatia next Sunday (18th), while the team that knocked them out of the World Cup are 16/5 to pile more misery on Southgate's side.
