The bookmakers have made Cardiff red hot favourites to be relegated and they are as low as 1/5 with some bookies for the drop.

Neil Warnock's side have only picked up two points out of a possible 21, as they drew with Newcastle and Huddersfield.

They also crashed out of the EFL Carabao Cup following a 3-1 defeat to Championship side Norwich, making it five defeats in a row in all competitions.

The Welsh side face Tottenham and Liverpool away in two of their next three league games, so things might not get better for the newly promoted side anytime soon.

Warnock's side are 16/1 to not win a single Premier League game this season and 10/1 to set a record for lowest points total for a top-division side.

Premier League relegation: 1/5 Cardiff; 2/7 Huddersfield; 9/4 Burnley; 9/4 Newcastle; 11/4 Fulham; 7/2 Brighton; 4/1 Southampton; 10/1 BAR
