Bookmakers have cut the odds on Jamie Vardy completing a shock move to Manchester United this month, as Jose Mourinho steps up his search for attacking reinforcements.
With Romelu Lukaku struggling, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return from injury proving unconvincing, Mourinho has been linked with several strikers.
And Paddy Power have today slashed the odds on Vardy moving to Old Trafford, with the deal now rated at just 7/2.
Though United have been linked with a move for Alexis Sanchez, the bookmaker think the Chilean is certain to join Man City instead (1/3), and have reacted by shortening a bid for the England forward.

He is seen as a more likely target than a return for Javier Hernandez (4/1).
Spokesman Paddy Power said: "I'm not sure signing Vardy will be enough to placate United fans, as they watch their city rivals sweep all before them - but at least they won't be reliant on a 36-year-old with one leg.
"You've got to feel sorry for the scriptwriter on the Jamie Vardy movie. Just as he thinks he's wrapping up, another chapter opens in the WKD story."
