TheODDSbible's FA Cup Preview

We've got a mega acca here!

It's a new year and although we may all be disappointed that the Christmas fixture list has come to an end (as well as spending every night in the pub), fear not, as there is still loads of football to get stuck into this weekend.

The FA Cup returns this weekend, and with 31 games being played over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it's once again time to bash the bookies and spend that extra Christmas money. Don't worry if you've spent it all in the boozer either, as we're also going to give you a long shot accumulator for you to sink your teeth into.

West Ham vs. Manchester City (Friday, 19:55)

Manchester City Win & Both Teams To Score @ 2/1

After their run of just one win in five games, Manchester City seem to have somewhat rediscovered some form as of late. West Ham on the other hand, have lost their last two, including a 2-0 loss at home to City's Manchester rivals.

With four wins from their last five, the only setback being a 1-0 loss away at Liverpool on New Year's Eve, we can see City taking this one as it's difficult to see the Hammers keeping them out, especially if they play a strong side. However, Pep Guardiola's men have only managed to keep 5 clean sheets in their last 24 games in all competitions.

Everton vs. Leicester City (Saturday, 15:00)

Romelu Lukaku To Score Anytime @ 20/21

Everton have hit good form as of late, with only one loss in their last five at the hands of their merseyside rivals Liverpool. Leicester on the other hand have only one win from their last five and only three points away from home all season. When this pair met on Boxing Day, Everton ran out 2-0 winners, and we expect the Toffees to take home the spoils again this weekend.

Lukaku continues to be the main man for Everton, notching a goal and an assist on Monday against Southampton to take his tally to 11 Premier League goals for the season - 8 more than any of his teammates. With Leicester's defence being less than convincing this season, the Belgian is more than capable of making his mark on this game.

Cardiff City vs. Fulham (Sunday, 11:30)

Fulham Win @ 7/5

Fulham are comfortably sitting mid-table having lost only three of the last thirteen games they've played in the Championship, whereas Cardiff are living dangerously only three points clear from the relegation zone.

Fulham have only lost two of their eleven away games this season, and although Cardiff have been improving under Neil Warnock as of late, they have only managed to keep their opposition out in 12% of games this season. We can see an open game here as both sides will likely want to avoid a replay, and Fulham should be able to get at least a couple against the Bluebirds on Sunday.
