The 22-year-old reportedly wants to push for a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge this season, however, it is believed Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is not going to allow him to depart the club.

The Mirror are reporting that Manuel Pellegrini wants Loftus-Cheek to move across London in a bid to save the Hammers from relegation.

The midfielder has been showing his worth recently when he netted a hattrick against BATE Borisov at Stamford Bridge in the Europa League before bagging another in the next game against Burnley.

Both Loftus-Cheek and his agent have hinted at a move away from the English giants unless he starts to get more time on the pitch, the 22-year-old said: "I hear it a lot, and I can see why people are saying that, because I'm 22 now and haven't got too many Premier League starts to my name.

"I haven't played too many minutes, whether it be in the Premier League and the Championship, and at 22 it's not seen as enough by some people.

"I do hear it. I love the club and I love Chelsea. I want to play for Chelsea.

"Last season, moving to Palace on loan, was a decision I made because I hadn't played any football really, at the age of 21, and last season was great for me at Palace. 24 appearances I think I had in the Premier League, and then to go on and make my England debut. I made a lot of steps last year.

"Playing football was massive for me and you can see why people want to see me play, and I want to play as well."

According to Sky Bet, Loftus-Cheek is 1/3 to still be at Chelsea when the January transfer window closes and 9/4 to have departed Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle are favourites at 5/1 to sign the 22-year-old, while Crystal Palace follow close behind at 8/1.

London rivals Arsenal are 12/1 and West Ham are 14/1, so if the Mirrors reports are true it might be worth backing Loftus-Cheek to move to the London Stadium at 14/1.
