Racing takes place at Kempton (afternoon) and Lingfield (evening) on the All Weather, Warwick over jumps and Pontefract (afternoon) and Windsor (evening) on the flat. Navan host a flat evening meeting in Ireland. Here are Danny Archer's selections:
Trust the Captain to deliver at Kempton
2:10: Kempton - Corinthia Knight 4/5. Showed decent turn of foot and was sharp for debut. Looks capable of defying a penalty.
Advert
3:15: Kempton - Metronomic 3/1. Went too quick last time, more restrained ride could see him in a better light.
4:20: Kempton -Thafeera 6/5. Second to Nell Gwyn winner on debut and capable of better.
4:50: Kempton - Captain Peacock 6/4. Course and distance winner and scored well at Windsor on return to action. 7lb rise might not stop him.
Advert
Lombardy to be Star attraction at Lingfield
6:35: Lingfield - Shargiah 2/1. Scored at Ripon in July and now switches to handicap company.
7:35: Lingfield - Star Of Lombardy 6/4. I felt she was unlucky at Bath last week as she rallied again once headed. She will appreciate the return to the All Weather and looks tough to beat here.
Star looks catch of the day at Ponte
Advert
2:00: Pontefract - Sinaloa 21/10. Richard Fahey's horses are in such good form, this two-year-old son of Camacho looks chancing in this event.
2:30: Pontefract - Rockwood 31/5 Each Way. Surprise winner at Newcastle last time but did it well that day. Just 2lb higher for that victory.
3:35: Pontefract - La Fritillaire 11/4. Won over a shorter trip last year at this course and should enjoy this test.
4:10: Pontefract - Star Catch 5/4. Set pace at Haydock last time and has the services of Paul Hanagan over the same trip.
Advert
Atlantic to cause a Storm at Warwick
2:20: Warwick - Atlantic Storm 15/8. Struck late to score at Bangor-on-Dee on handicap debut and whilst this is tougher, confidence should be sky high after that effort.
Dark to take Shot at Windsor
5:15: Windsor - Dark Shot 10/3. Has to prove wellbeing but decisive winner of decent contest at Ascot in September and looks a sprinter on the up here.
Advert
5:25: Navan - Washington DC 7/2. Has fitness edge over stablemate and might be finally to get his head in front.
6:55: Navan - Clositered 13/8. Jessica Harrington is in such good form and this daughter of Clodovil was second on her first start and should go one better today.
6:25: Navan - Homesman 6/4. Creeped into things late last time at Dundalk in October. Should improve for that and finish behind a smart stablemate. War Front colt so will appreciate good ground.
Win Double
4:20: Kempton -Thafeera
4:50: Kempton - Captain Peacock
Win Treble
2:10: Kempton - Corinthia Knight
6:25: Navan - Homesman
7:35: Lingfield - Star Of Lombardy
