Black Warrior to show fighting spirit at Limerick

We had another good day yesterday with the NAP landing for the third successive day along with plenty of other winners. The racing is relentless at the moment and Sunday's action is no different.

Jump racing occurs at Market Rasen and Stratford, flat racing at Ripon, whilst Limerick over jumps and Naas on the flat stage meetings in Ireland. Here are Danny Archer's selections...

Warrior to show fighting spirit at Limerick

3:35: Limerick - Black Warrior 4/5.

The seven-year-old gelding is crying out for a step up in distance after finishing second on his chasing debut at Ballinrobe. He takes a rise in trip today and looks set to go very close here.

Dali to prove architect of victory at Naas

2:40: Naas - Whitecliffsofdover 5/6.

Aidan O'Brien's charge made a pleasing return to action at Newmarket in April and can score again here.

3:15: Naas - Dali 11/4.

Aidan O'Brien's charge did the business over course and distance quite nicely last time and whilst this is another step up in grade, he is bred to be smart.

3:45: Naas - Alpha Centauri Evs.

Big, scopey sort who scored over course and distance earlier this month. She will have learnt a lot from that run as she was well on top at the end once knowing her job. She can follow up in this competitive event.

Materialist to put it all together at Ripon

2:35: Ripon - Urban Spirit 3/1.

Jedd O'Keeffe has his horses in fine form and this three-year-old gelding might have needed his return to action at Catterick in April. It will be disappointing if he cannot improve off an official rating of 50 and he is taken to get his head in front.

4:40: Ripon - Materialist 11/8 NAP.

Roger Varian's charge really should have won at Thirsk last time when collared close home and with Andrea Atzeni making the journey up north for just one ride, he looks well worth supporting.

5:10: Ripon - Mighty Zip Each Way 11/2.

Caused a 50/1 surprise last time out back on turf and he is only a 1lb higher for that victory. He will appreciate the ground and will be suited by a fast pace.

Win Double

3:35: Limerick - Black Warrior

4:40: Ripon - Materialist
