Winter's here...

"Winter is coming."

It's been a little over six years since Eddard Stark uttered those famous words and since that fateful day in Winterfell, we've seen dragons, war, betrayal and weddings that would put any Eastender's Christmas special to shame.

Season seven is fast approaching and we've covered the best betting markets around the world's most popular TV show. Winter is finally here.

Who will die first in Game Of Thrones season seven?

Given Game Of Thrones track record with the lifespans of Westeros' most popular characters, this question and betting market will quite rightly make any fan a little uneasy.

Do not fret just yet however, as the bookie's favourites for the chop are among the show's most villainous or unlikable.

Boylesport's favourite to make an early exit is the one I find the most surprising. Part-time mastermind and full-time sh*tbag, Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish is just evens to be season seven's first casualty.

Littlefinger has orchestrated some of Game Of Throne's most pivotal events and he'll hopefully get his comeuppance at some point over the next two seasons, but to be the first one to go in season seven?

The King of Sh*tthousery has always been one step ahead of everyone else and I find it unlikely his grip on those around him will fail him so early into the next season.

If you do fancy Lord Baelish going out first, you can get him at a much more reasonable 5/1 with Ladbrokes.

The Dorne storyline has been one of the programme's most underwhelming and it's no surprise that Ellaria Sand, 9/2, also features quite prominently on the bookie chopping blocks.

The Lannister-hating lover of the now deceased and headless Oberyn Martell is set to collide with Cersei at some point, and I'm willing to bet that Queen C comes out on top.

Others that make the list of favourites to die first include the Mountain at 6/1 (Could we finally see Cleganebowl?), Melissandre at 7/1 and the hapless Theon Greyjoy also at 7s.

Recommended bet: Ellaria Sand, 9/2 - Ladbrokes

Who will rule Westeros at the end of Season 7.

The big one. Whilst Cersei asserted her position as Westeros' de facto leader at the end of season six in explosive fashion, winter isn't the only thing coming to King's Landing; first up is Daenerys' big f*ck off army which is currently on its way to piss in Cersei's chalice.

While the White Walkers are expected to carry on scaring the living daylights out of folk up North, the crux of season seven down south is expected to be the battle between Cersei and Dany, already being coined as "the Battle of the Bitches."

Cersei is the favourite to be sitting atop the Iron Throne come season eight and can be fond as low as 8/11 with Betway, with everyone's favourite "Mother of Dragons" backable at 2/1.

There's only 13 episodes left and I personally believe the battle for the throne will be wrapped up before the end of this season with the focus switching to the rapidly southbound moving Night King and his merry band of undead in season eight.

The 2/1 on Dany looks the most attractive and although Cersei undoubtedly has a few tricks up her sleeve, she almost certainly doesn't have an army of Dothraki, Unsullied and three f*cking dragons up there!

Elsewhere, everyone's favourite emo Jon Snow, whose claim to the throne is growing stronger by the episode, can be backed at 7/2, with Sansa at 11/2 and Tyrion Lannister rounding off the favourites at 15/2.

For fans of great beards, Tormund Giantsbane can be backed at 100/1. Printing money.

Recommended bet: Daenerys Targaryen, 2/1 - Betway, Ladbrokes
