O'Neill's charge to prove Box Office at Bangor-on-Dee.

We had another decent day yesterday as the Win Double once again landed and we had plenty of other winners.

Saturday sees some superb domestic racing in Britain with the highlight over jumps being the Scottish Grand National card at Ayr with selections for that meeting found here. Elsewhere, Bangor-on-Dee also hosts a jumps card. In terms of flat racing, Newbury and their feature race the Greenham Meeting takes centre stages as punters seek further Classic clues. Thirsk in the afternoon and Nottingham in the evening also play host to flat meetings, whilst on the All Weather Wolverhampton have an evening meeting. Over in Ireland, Limerick stages a flat meeting.

Here are Danny Archer's selections...

O'Neill's charge to prove Box Office at Bangor-on-Dee

2:00: Bangor-on-Dee - Shanroe In Milan 11/8.

Charlie Longsdon's charge is the highest rated horse in this field and whilst it was disappointing how he dropped back quickly on his handicap debut last time, reverting back to maiden hurdle company should see him in a better light as he had previously run well in defeat. He takes the beating in what looks quite a trappy event.

3:10: Bangor-on-Dee - Ganbei 5/2.

Won well at Market Rasen last time and he looks good value to follow up here despite an 8lb rise.

4:20: Bangor-on-Dee - Without Frontier 11/8.

Tim Vaughan's charge does look a bit quirky, highlighted by his high head carriage when second last time. However, that is by far the best form on offer here looking at recent runs.

4:55: Bangor-on-Dee - Box Office 8/11.

Finally got his head in front last at Market Rasen and his confident should be high on the back of that win. Looks capable of doubling up.

O'Brien's charge to produce Smouldering performance at Limerick

1:15: Limerick - True Valour 6/4.

Tough to look past Johnny Murtagh's son of Kodiac here who finished second to Group One placed Lancaster Bomber by a short head at Leopardstown in August. He has been off the track a long time but brings very solid form to the table here.

1:45: Limerick - Smoulder 11/2 Each Way.

Should improve for sixth placed finish at Naas earlier this month. I really fancy this daughter of Redoute's Choice who is closely related to 1000 Guineas winner Legatissimo and is also a sister to the high class Irish Derby and Ascot Gold Cup winner. A 725,000gns purchase, on paper she should prove far too for her rivals and the slight step up in trip to seven furlongs is of benefit here.

2:15: Limerick -Aasheq evs.

Dermot Weld's charge has to overcome a long absence from the track but on form he is still clear of his rivals.

3:25: Limerick - Sister Blandina 13/8.

Tough to see past Johnny Murtagh's charge here who made a nice return to action at Naas earlier this month and should improve for that run.

Blue is the colour with Chelsea Lad at Newbury

1:55: Newbury - Midterm 9/4.

Sir Michael Stoute has a superb record in this race having won the last two renewals of this event. The worry is that this supremely well-bred son of Galileo, whose mother is the high-class Midday, has to prove he can win first time out but he ran a belter in the QIPCO Champion Stakes to finish seventh. A one-time prominent mover in the Derby betting, he should have improved over the winter and I really fancy him to land the spoils.

2:30: Newbury - Dabyah 11/8.

Impressive in first two starts before finishing third in the Group One Prix Marcel Boussac at Chantilly on final outing last term and that looks the stand out form here.

3:05: Newbury - Barney Roy 7/2.

Richard Hannon has been very honest by saying how much he thinks of this son of Excelebration who is related to the classy Gordon Lord Byron. Won well at Haydock in September beaten a horse who subsequently landed our win double earlier in the week (Fujaira Bridge) and that looks very decent form now. I'm very keen on him.

3:40: Newbury - Chelsea Lad 9/2 and Banksea 10/1 Each Way.

Chelsea Lad was favourite for the Lincoln at Doncaster but did not make the cut. Moore rides and deserts George William who he won on at Nottingham last time. Reportedly in good form at home and won well on his last start in May last year.

Bankea goes well fresh and was in pretty decent form until disappointing on his final start in the Cambridgeshire. Remains open to plenty of potential.

4:15: Newbury - Call To Mind 2/1.

Heard a good whisper about this colt who is entered in both the Dante and Derby and is a brother to a decent Group Three winner. He might make a winning debut.

4:45: Newbury - Musical Terms 9/4.

Another one I've had a good word for this week and Ryan Moore is booked.

5:20: Newbury - UAE King 11/4.

Roger Varian has his string in such fine form and this son of Frankel should benefit from his first start here in October.

5:55: Newbury - Signe 10/3.

Very impressive in two starts on the All Weather and this expensive daughter of Sea The Stars is a half-sister to Group One winner Lord Shanakill and he should be thereabouts at the finish.

Wave after Wave slowly drifting with Crystal Ocean at Nottingham

6:00: Nottingham - Simmy's Copshop 9/4.

Richard Fahey has his string in such fine form, particularly his maiden runners and with Hanagan aboard, she looks well worth a bet.

6:30: Nottingham - Crystal Ocean 11/10.

Sir Michael Stoute has his string in fine fettle and this son of Sea The Stars is well related to some really quality horses including Crystal Capella, Hillstar and Crystal Zvesda. Neck second at Newbury on his debut over seven furlongs and should appreciate the step up to 10 furlongs.

7:30: Nottingham - Roller 5/2 and Acrux 9/1 Each Way.

Roller made a pleasing return to turf at Redcar on Monday and might be up to shouldering a penalty. Acrux is a half-brother to Breeders Cup Turf and Derby second Main Sequence and he won well on his second start at Wolverhampton and then after pulling far too hard last time, he ran no sort of race at Sandown in September. If settling here, has a chance here.

You'd be a Fool to not back Laad at Newcastle

1:50: Thirsk - Foolaad 11/2 Each Way.

Been very impressed with his last two wins over six and seven furlongs on the All Weather and fancy him to run a big race returning to the turf.

2:20: Thirsk - Ancient Astronaut 7/2.

John Quinn's horses are in decent nick and this son of Kodiac is just 1lb higher for his win at Epsom last summer.

2:55: Thirsk - Noah Amor 13/8 Next Best.

Tough to look past Richard Fahey's charge who won well on his debut for the Northern maestro. Probably even better suited by five furlong trip.

4:05: Thirsk - Scuzeme 3/1.

Ran very well at Nottingham last time and capable of better.

Museum to be start attraction at Wolverhampton

5:45: Wolverhampton - Pushkin Museum 11/8 NAP.

Simon Walker is quite simply a genius in these events and this course and distance winner should really have won last time. He looks to have an outstanding claims here.

6:15: Wolverhampton - Spirit Of Zebedee 7/2.

Has stall one and been in great nick this term.

6:45: Wolverhampton - You're Cool 11/4.

Big fan of this sprinter who won well here off a relentless gallop in January. I'm a massive fan and I really fancy him to land the spoils.

7:15: Wolverhampton - Mr Red Clubs 11/8.

Jane Elliott has struck up a great relationship with this eight-time Wolves winner who is simply a legend of the game. Selling company is really his fare these days and he should go well here.

8:15: Wolverhampton - Al Zaman 8/11.

Represents who I think is one of the shrewdest trainer's going and he sets the standard on his very decent second to a smart sort at Nottingham in October.

8:45: Wolverhampton - Bottleofsmoke 15/8.

Irish raider who won well here last time. Subsequently raised 9lb but has Winston in the plate and looks set to have a good go at following up.
