We had another decent day yesterday with the NAP landing for the 11th time in 13 tips.

There is a feast of racing on bank holiday Monday with seven meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland. Leicester, Redcar and Windsor host flat meetings, Chelmsford an All-Weather meeting, whilst Cartmel and Huntingdon hold jump cards. In Ireland, Ballinrobe stages a jump meeting.

Here are Danny Archer's selections...

Mag to be fine and Dandy at Ballinrobe

6:30: Ballinrobe - Dandy Mag 5/11.

Clear on ratings and has by far the best form on offer having finished sixth in a Grade One event last time. He looks very tough to beat.

7:00: Ballinrobe - Chambord Du Lys 6/5.

Arguably been a pretty disappointing sort who did however run with credit in a competitive event at Killarney last time. He remains open to improvement and is entitled to go well here.

Sire to cost bookies Dear

2:10: Cartmel - Dear Sire 11/8.

Is not the most straightforward and was very disappointing when only fifth at Hexham last time but this son of Al Namix is evidently talented and in a weak event, he takes the beating as he is 6lb clear on official ratings.

Moon no Lost cause at Chelmsford

3:40: Chelmsford - Lost The Moon 3/1.

Pulled up last time after stumbling badly out of the stalls and it's well worth writing that incident off as he remains open to improvement based on his victories at this track earlier this term. The step up to two miles should really suit as well.

5:25: Chelmsford - Joysunny 6/4.

Michael Easterby's charge was second to a very well handicapper rival at Catterick in April and she was very unlucky not to get her head in front that day as she flew home late. The three-year-old daughter of Camacho is bred to appreciate this surface and she can finally get her head in front.

Dancer to waltz into Huntingdon winners enclosure

2:00: Huntingdon - Deauville Dancer 7/2.

Lot to like about his first start over fences as he stayed on gamely that day despite not always jumping with real fluency. He should improve a lot for that run and this son of Rhombus is taken to get his head in front.

Heat looks too hot to trot at Leicester

3:50: Leicester - So Sleek 5/6.

Luca Cumani doesn't have as many horses these days but this son of Lawman was a creditable third to a horse who finished third in the Musidora ay York next time out, whilst the second has also come out and won. That's a massive form boost and she looks tough to beat.

4:25: Leicester - Scorching Heat 9/2.

Andrew Balding's charge was very impressive at Salisbury last time in which he readily put the race to bed. He remains open to plenty of improvement and I fancy him to follow up.

Glen to be King at Redcar

3:35: Redcar - Euchen Glen 4/1.

Scored by a length and a quarter at Ayr last time pulling clear very impressively that day. The way he won that day suggests he might be able to shoulder a 5lb penalty.

Scoobie to solve Windsor puzzle

2:55: Windsor - Turning The Table 6/5 NAP.

Scored decisively over track and trip last time and she remains lightly raced for her age. A daughter of Mastercraftsman, his offspring do sometimes improve as they get older and she looked to have filled her frame out last time. She should follow up in this.

3:30: Windsor - Yalawin 11/4.

I was very impressive with the performance of Roger Varian's charge at Ripon last time. He was ultra-professional that day and whilst he must now make the transition to handicap company and a drop in trip, he makes plenty of appeal.

4:40: Windsor - Compas Scoobie 10/3.

I don't often criticise jockeys but he was given one of the worst rides I have ever at Yarmouth last time. He was absolutely cruising that day and got no luck in running. He has been raised 6lb for an earlier win at Wolverhampton but he might be up to defying that rise in the weights.
