We landed a winning NAP yesterday and day two of the William Hill St Leger Festival sees the racing step up a gear with more quality contests on Town Moor. Here are the ODDSbible Racing tips for Thursday's racing:

NAP

3:00 - Doncaster - Pilaster 6/5

Pilaster
Pilaster

Gorgeous looking daughter of Nathaniel who stepped up on two All-Weather victories earlier this year when landing the G2 Lillie Langtry Stakes at Goodwood in August. The three-year-old engaged in a ding-dong battle with Maid Up in the closing stages and got up close home. Maid Up, who runs in Saturday's William Hill St Leger, has since plundered a G3 event at Ascot, whilst God Given and Isabel De Urbina, who finished fourth and fifth respectively at Goodwood have plenty to find to challenge Pilaster. Horseplay has to carry a lot of weight and with Roger Varian doing so well at this meeting and Doncaster in general, Pilaster makes plenty of appeal.

Next Best

7:25 - Hamilton - Tolkyn 8/11

A filly whose forte is definitely stamina. Ran a fine race when second at Salisbury in may, seeing on well having been slowly into stride and pushed along early in the straight.Subsequently ran creditably when fourth at Chepstow on first start up to 12 furlongs with the second and third both scoring since. She has been given plenty of time off since and she makes plenty of appeal for Roger Varian and David Egan.

Daily Double

3:15 - Listowel - Snowflakes 15/8

Worked very well at Ballydoyle last week and despite not being seen out since finishing eighth in last year's Albany, she could be very progressive this year and is of serious interest if the market speaks in her favour.

5:35 - Ffos Las - Landue 11/10

Horse with real stamina-laden qualities who is unbeaten on his last two starts and is unpenalised with his latest win. Finley Marsh's 5lb claim negates that penalty and this looks another good opportunity to get his head in front.

Each-Way

2:25 - Doncaster - Peach Tree 13/2

Doncaster
Doncaster

Nice second behind stable companion Just Wonderful in a Group Three at the Curragh last time when attempting to make all. The two-year-old daughter of Galileo saw the trip out well and she sets a clear standard for the others to aim oat on form.

3:35 - Doncaster - The Irish Rover 7/2

Produced a career best performance when third in the G1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh in August. Fourth in the Gimcrack last time out but that race came quick on the back of that Curragh run and now sporting first-time blinkers he is given another chance here. He is the highest-rated horse in the field and he looks a great each-way bet.

Value Tip

5:55 - Hamilton - Take A Turn 5/1

Eye-catching runner for Newmarket handler David Lanigan making the long trip up north of the border. The four-year-old son of Henrythenavigator is 7lb higher than his latest win but he ran a creditable race when fifth at Newmarket, keeping on well and he looks to have each-way possibilities.
