A defeat could mean the end for Arsene Wenger.

Crystal Palace's run of four straight wins came to an abrupt end at Southampton on Wednesday night and they now travel back to London to face an Arsenal side that picked up it's first win in four over West Ham at the Emirates.

Sam Allardyce is well on course to steering his side away from the relegation zone but there's lot of work still to do, whilst Arsenal will still feel Top Four is still within reach after Manchester City and Liverpool both dropped points in midweek.

The weekend's result were kinder to Big Sam than they were to Wenger though.

All six of the other Top Seven sides won their respective games, leaving the Gunners seven points off of 4th placed Manchester City with two games in hand and Everton breathing down their necks.

At the other end of the table, Middlesbrough were the only side in the bottom six to pick up any points (one, with a draw at home to Burnley) meaning a win takes Palace six points clear of Swansea and the final relegation place.

Away from home this season Arsenal have only managed clean sheets at Swansea, Burnley and Leicester, while only Middlesbrough have prevented them from scoring. Therefore, I think Both Teams to Score is a good shout here but 13/20 is a little short for my liking.

Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals also has potential at 10/11 but I prefer the much better price of 5/2 on Arsenal to Win and Both Teams to Score. Arsenal have won and conceded in three of their four games away from home at sides in the Bottom Five - their only clean sheet coming in a 4-0 victory over a hopeless Swansea side.

Considering their recent visits to Selhurst and both sides' respective results so far this season, I think it's worth chancing Arsenal to Win 2-1 at 9/1. The Gunners have won by the same scoreline in the last two meetings between the sides in SE25, whilst Palace have also lost by the scoreline at home to both Manchester City and Manchester United already this season.

Another one that interests me is Arsenal 1-0 HT Result at 16/5. The Eagles have trailed by that exact scoreline at the game's halfway point on six occasions already this season - with Bournemouth, West Ham, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Swansea all heading in to the break a goal to the good.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have led 1-0 away from home in all four of their meetings with sides in the bottom five, with Manchester City also joining that list.

The Gunners are good at getting their noses in front just before the break and it's not unreasonable to expect the same from their visit to Selhurst Park.
