Javier Hernandez will make his West Ham debut against his former side on Sunday when the Hammers travel to face Manchester United.

The Mexico striker, who scored 59 goals in his five seasons at Old Trafford, remains a popular figure among United supporters but will be keen to turn around the Hammers' poor record against Jose Mourinho's side in recent years.

The Red Devils have lost just one of their last 16 meetings with Slaven Bilic's side and will be determined to get their Premier League campaign off to a winning start.

Summer signing Romelu Lukaku is expected to make his Premier League debut for United and will be looking to continue his impressive record against the Hammers.

The Belgian netted on nine occasions during his ten games for Everton against West Ham and can be backed at 5/6 with Bet Victor to score for his new side on Sunday.

United are also set to hand Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof their first Premier League starts for the club with Eric Bailly and Phil Jones also available after being suspended in United's 2-1 Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid in midweek.

West Ham are set to give debuts to new signings Marko Arnautovic, Pablo Zabaleta and Manchester City loanee Joe Hart with Manuel Lanzini and Aaron Cresswell facing a race to be fit.

The clash at Old Trafford follows Newcastle United's return to the Premier League when they face Tottenham in the opening Super Sunday game.

Despite relegation to the Championship, the Magpies enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Spurs the last time the sides met in the final day of the 2015/16 season.

Tottenham have impressed in recent seasons finishing second and third in the league but, with no summer signings and a temporary move to Wembley Stadium, may struggle to contend for the title this year.

Spurs are facing a full-back dilemma with Kieran Trippier missing the start of the season with an ankle injury picked up in their 2-0 win over Juventus.

Furthermore, Mauricio Pochettino may drop Danny Rose following the left-back's comments that he would be open to a move away from North London in this transfer window.

Newcastle centre-back Florian Lejeune is expected to make his debut at St James' Park with Aleksandar Mitrovic likely to be preferred to Dwight Gayle up front after starting the Magpies' final two pre-season games.

The return of Premier League football at St James' Park will generate an electric atmosphere on Sunday and given Tottenham's slight frailties at the back expect both teams to score which can be backed at 41/50 with Unibet.
