Odds On Lukaku Starting Chelsea's First Game Of The Season Are Ridiculously Low

Is a move to Stamford Bridge imminent?

Ladbrokes are offering odds of just 1/7 on Romelu Lukaku starting Chelsea's opening game of the season, despite the forward still being an Everton player.

That makes him by far the most likely striker to be leading the line for the Blues, while Diego Costa is 7/4 to feature from the offset for the champions against Burnley.

Chelsea have also been linked with a shock move for Robert Lewandowski, and the bookies make it just a 2/1 shot for the Bayern Munich ace to appear in Antonio Conte's first teamsheet of the season, while Alvaro Morata is the least likely of this quartet at 7/2.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "We're so confident that Lukaku will return to Stamford Bridge this summer that we're already pricing up the likelihood of him featuring in Chelsea's opening game.

And at 1/7, the Belgian looks nailed on to force wantaway striker Diego Costa out of the starting line-up."
