Burnley vs Newcastle United rounds off Gameweek 10 of the Premier League season at Turf Moor tonight with a victory important for both sides. Our man Danny Archer has previewed the action...

Burnley - Sean Dyche's side are currently 10th in the Premier League table and have lost just two games this season. Despite uncertainty surrounding Dyche's future, the Clarets have been in decent form in the Premier League and had enjoyed a six game unbeaten run in the league prior to a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. That was still a creditable effort against a team who this weekend set a record for the highest number of points procured in the Premier League and they will make this a tough test for the visitors.

Burnley have tasted defeat once at home this season to West Bromwich Albion (1-0) but have made Turf Moor a fortress in recent years, which has spearheaded their ability to remain in the Premier League. Dyche's side have conceded 9 goals this season and Chris Wood has led their line admirably so far. However, with a goal tally of just 8, one of the lowest in the league goals have been a real premium.

Newcastle United - Rafa Benitez has again showed why he is a top class manager by steering Newcastle to eighth in the Premier League after 9 games. Four victories and three defeats have been buffeted by two draws and the Magpies are unbeaten in their last three games. Matt Ritchie, Jamaal Lascelles and a host of others have been integral to that success.

The Toon have also been good on the road taking a point against Southampton but were disappointing against Brighton back in September. Expect a more polished performance from Benitez's side tonight as they look to extend their unbeaten run. Newcastle look a unified side, who whilst perhaps lacking real star quality, contribute well together and they could cause Burnley problems on the break tonight.

Verdict - This could be a trappy affair and when we played this in the office earlier, both teams came away with a point in a nervy 1-1 draw. A similar scoreline could be expected tonight and Under 2.5 goals and Newcastle/Draw look stand out bets.

Newcastle have been pretty good on the road but Burnley understand the need to pick up as many points at home this season.
