Mo Salah is now just 11/8 with Ladbrokes to win the 2018 Ballon d'Or.
The Liverpool ace netted his 42nd and 43rd goals of the season on Tuesday night, forcing the bookies to slash odds to 11/8 on him being the first player other than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to claim the gong since 2007.
That means he's now as likely as Ronaldo and ahead of Messi (7/2) in the betting for the award, while Liverpool are currently 6/4 FAVOURITES to win the Champions League.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Salah has averaged almost a goal-per-game in all competitions this season and given Liverpool's current position in Europe, it's easy to see why he's priced so short to win this year's Ballon d'Or."
