Kyle Walker is on the verge of signing for Man City and reports this morning suggest Monaco's Benjamin Mendy could follow as Pep Guardiola rebuilds his defence ahead of the new season.

Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker is as short as 1/8 to move to the Etihad now suggesting it's a matter of when, not if, the 26 year old swaps North London for Manchester.

Guardiola looks like he's getting his business done early this summer following the eye-catching capture of Bernardo Silva from Monaco yesterday and it seems that Silva's former teammate Mendy is also high on Pep's shopping list.

Monaco are already said to be in the market for his replacement and are targeting Aston Villa's Jordan Amavi.

It is believed that Mendy and Bernardo's sales could net Monaco around £100m in a summer.

Having released veteran full-backs Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy on Thursday, Guardiola has wasted no time giving his current squad a makeover, and City are getting their business done well ahead of their domestic rivals.

Two of which, Chelsea and Arsenal, clash this afternoon in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Ladbrokes make Premier League champions the heavy favourites going in to this one at 4/5, with Gunners priced at 10/3 to triumph inside 90 minutes.

The bookmaker are also offering customers a free bet of up to £25 back if the game finishes as a draw. The offer applies to the following markets: First goalscorer, Half Time/Full Time and correct score. Link in the banner below.
