Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay recently reached five million follows on his Instagram page, meaning he is just 142million short of Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Depay celebrated the landmark slightly different to how most footballers would.

The Lyon winger dropped a freestyle in Paris as he lights up a cigar in a questionable jacked with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

The video lasts for about one minute and is everything you'd expect. Cringey, funny and just plain weird.

It's captioned: "I bet this freestyle's going viral! Thank you to my supporters for helping me hit 5 million followers!"

The Dutch forwards starts off by doing a little jiggle and again thanking his followers: "five million... I appreciate the love," before thanking God for his journey.

The 24-year-old also make a reference to the Netherlands making it to the Nations League final next summer.

The Oranje progressed from their tough group ahead of Germany and France and will go head-to-head with Switzerland, England and hosts Portugal for the inaugural trophy.

Gareth Southgate's England are favourites at 2/1 with Portugal close behind at 23/10, while the Netherlands (3/1) and Switzerland (5/1) follow.
