Borussia Dortmund are set to announce the permanent signing of in-form forward Paco Alcacer, according to German news organisation Bild.

The Spanish striker is on-loan from Barcelona, however, Dortmund have a clause in the contract to make it a permanent move, and it is understood they are going to straight after the Mainz game on Saturday.

Alcacer has found the back of the net an impress eight times in just six games and the Bundesliga side are reportedly very impressed with 25-year-olds form.

Dortmund will reportedly pay the Catalan club 23million Euros with up to five million in bonuses as the former Valencia forward is set to sign a contract keeping him at the club until 2023.

Elsewhere, the on fire forward has also scored three times in his last two game for Spain.

Meanwhile, Dortmund are high-flying in the league so far this season, they have a four-point gap at the top of the table, while they are a further seven points clear of Bayern Munich.

The Black and Yellows are 4/7 to beat Mainz at the weekend and keep their 100 percent league record intact.

Alcacer is 7/2 to open the scoring away from home, and 10/11 says he bags his ninth goal at any point.
