DAVID HAYE COULD ANNOUNCE his retirement from professional boxing before the year is out, according to Ladbrokes.

The Hayemaker has been forced to postpone his scheduled fight with Tony Bellew after injuring his bicep in training, but the bookies now make it just 2/1 he calls time on his boxing career this year.

Meanwhile, Bellew's next opponent could instead be Tyson Fury, who called 'Bomber' out on social media following news of the Haye/Bellew postponement.

It's now just 6/4 the Gypsy King steps in as Haye's replacement in the ring with Bellew next year.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Fury is confident of securing a comeback, and while Haye's retirement could be imminent, Bellew might just feature in an even bigger blockbuster bout next year."
