Wayne Rooney looks set to bow out of international football with another goal, according to the bookies.

England's all-time leading goalscorer will make one more appearance for the Three Lions against USA this week, and Ladbrokes rate his chances of getting on the scoresheet at just 6/4. That means only three players (Harry Kane, Callum Wilson and Marcus Rashford) are more likely to get on the scoresheet than the D.C. United man.

It was reported earlier this month that the match against the States will be called 'The Wayne Rooney Foundation International' in honour of the former Manchester United's strikers charity, while the Wembley Arch will be lit gold, the main colour of his charity.

The match is expected to raise approximately ยฃ500,000 for children's charities.

However, it was revealed that Rooney will not start the match and will only be used as a late substitute on Thursday night.

With Wazza not expected to start, 9/2 says he gets the last goal of the game, with 33/1 on offer for him to net his first ever international hat-trick.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "His inclusion has divided the nation, but the odds suggest Wazza will repay Gareth Southgate with a goal this week."

Speaking about the match, Rooney said: "I am truly humbled and hugely excited to play for England at Wembley again. I would like to thank Gareth Southgate and the FA for inviting me back and helping to support my foundation in the process.

"Playing for England was the greatest honour of my career, so winning my 120th cap will be particularly special moment for me. It's fitting that the match will be against the USA and I hope that both sets of fans can enjoy the game."

England manager Southgate added: "This tribute to Wayne is a unique opportunity that is befitting of out nation's record goalscorer.

"We are fortunate that circumstances have allowed us to formally acknowledge Wayne's immense contribution to England in front of the Wembley crowd and against apt opponents given the recent impact he made in the US."

Meanwhile, Rooney met up with the England squad at their training ground yesterday, St. George's Park, and was all smiles as he bagged a goal, as well as, pulling out his trademark celebration.
