Chris Woakes is the true definition of an all-rounder.

Following a bloody miserable Ashes Test series (well, for England's sake), the tourists have recorded their second straight ODI win over Australia with a four-wicket victory at Brisbane.

Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales hit half-centuries, while man of the match 'Roooooooot' guided his side to victory with an unbeaten 46.

Though Warwickshires's Woakes starred for England with bat and ball, not to mention his superb side-foot finish to run out Alex Carey.

Performance, lad.

He also restricted the hosts to 270, bowling his nine overs at over 4 runs an over, picking up the one wicket.

And like Root, was unbeaten with the bat scoring 39 from just 27 balls including six boundaries. Woakes also scored the winning runs, sealing the victory with a '4'.

Meanwhile, England can now clinch the five-match series with victory in the third ODI at Sydney on Sunday.
