When Holly Holm ended the undefeated streak of Ronda Rousey in November 2015 she would have hoped that momentum would make her one of UFC's biggest stars but she couldn't back that up, now she has her first win since.
Before Conor McGregor became ours, and everyone else's, UFC obsession it was Rousey who was the face of the organisation and she was the best known women's fighter in any sport.
In fact before McGregor started his verbal sparring with the biggest name in boxing, Floyd Mayweather, it was Rousey who was having a back and forth argument across any interviews they did.

Rousey was undefeated going into UFC 193 in Melbourne when she came up against former boxing pro Holly Holm. The also undefeated Holm dominated throughout before kick to the face knocked the queen clean out.
Unfortunately that wasn't the moment that helped the 35 year-old kick on to superstardom and she lost her newly won women's bantamweight title to Meisha Tate in her first defence.
