Judd Trump Plays Ridiculous Shot In World Grand Prix

The reigning world champion played a shot so good that Stephen Hendry doesn't think that Ronnie O'Sullivan could make the shot.

Judd Trump played one of the most outrageous shots the snooker World Grand Prix has ever seen with the movement on the white ball taking it back towards the reds after pocketing the pink.

World champion Trump is known for his aggressive and adventurous style of play and he proved how good he is at taking on any shot in his World Grand Prix match with Li Hang on Tuesday.

Trump put impressive spin on the white ball, potted the pink and returned the white to the other end of the table to leave seven time world champion Stephen Hendry in awe.

The 30-year-old is defending the World Grand Prix title he won last year and made it through against Li pretty comfortably, winning their match 4-1, after breaks of 65, 100, 138 and 97 helped him recover from 0-1 down.

His incredible shot on the pink when out of position allowed him to turn what was a break of 58 at the time into a tournament high break of 138.

The world champ has had a good start to 2020 already and won German Masters. That tournament is part of the four events that make up the European Series, with the best performer picking up a ยฃ150,000 bonus.

Neil Robertson won the other event to have taken place in the four so far, the European Masters, and Trump revealed he plans to speak to the Australian to make sure they both know whether or not the other is planning on entering the one-frame Shoot Out tournament.

Speaking earlier this week Trump said, "I'll definitely be entering Gibraltar and depending on Neil, if Neil enters the Shoot Out I'll probably have to as well.

"There'll be some deep talks to see what's going on in his head. I don't want for him to say he's not playing in it, then he does and I don't. We'll see what happens."

For now Trump is going to continue to attempt the outrageous, and he's likely to make every single shot.
