High praise indeed.

WWE bosses Vince McMahon and Triple H have commented on Brock Lesnar's UFC 200 victory.

Lesnar made a successful return to mixed-martial-arts after a 4-year hiatus from the sport. The former UFC heavyweight retired following back-to-back defeats to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem but got back in the column at UFC 200.

Taking on the dangerous striker Mark Hunt, the 38-year-old used his superior wrestling to take the Kiwi down delivering a barrage of ground and pound en route to a unanimous decision victory.

His WWE colleagues were clearly impressed with the win. Speaking on ESPN Triple H said;

"To come back after all this time, and put on that kind of performance, speaks to the once in a lifetime type of athlete that Brock is."

While Vince McMahon made this incredibly bold statement;

"Brock is the most formidable combat athlete in the history of the country."

Some compliment. Lesnar's performance proved he still has the ability to compete among the divisions best, and hasn't ruled out another octagon outing. Though you can catch the WWE superstar at next months SummerSlam where is set to compete against Randy Orton
