Charlie Guenigault, the off duty police officer who suffered multiple knife wounds during the London terror attack two weeks ago, has been visited by 14 time WWE Champion Triple H today and presented with an honorary WWE Championship belt for his courageous, heroic efforts in the face of knife wielding extremists.
Charlie, a huge WWE fan, had no idea what was awaiting him when he was transported by limo to a London hotel. When he stepped inside, he was greeted by the former leader of D-Generation X and Evolution, the current Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative and NXT Overlord, Triple H.
The Game presented Guenigault with his own WWE Title belt, emblazoned with the message, "To Charlie, thank you to a true hero!"

The King of Kings, real name Paul Levesque, hailed Charlie's efforts, which may have saved several more lives as extremists brought more terror to the streets of England, on the night of 3rd June.
"The highest recognition a WWE Superstar can get is winning the WWE Championship. But this honour is also reserved for those in real life who go above and beyond.
"To run in the direction of a scary situation that can't even be described in words, to help others, for that to be your instinct to help others - that is a hero.

"People say a lot of times that they watch WWE because these guys are like real-life superheroes. Well, Charlie is a real hero."
Charlie, who is currently recovering from wounds to his his head, leg, back and stomach, was wearing a Sami Zayn t-shirt at the time of the attack and the Canadian superstar and former NXT Champion shared a video message with the police officer, also praising his life saving heroism.
"You put yourself in the line of danger at a time when you really had no obligation to do so.
"I can't tell you how much respect I have for you. The fact you were wearing my shirt at the time really puts it into perspective for me.

"Sami Zayn has always been the guy known to stand up to the bad guys, but you did it in the most horrific of circumstances.
"Man, I'm just blown away, I really am."

Needless to say, Charlie was bowled over by both Triple H and Zayn and struggled to put his emotions into words, afterwards.
"It was an absolute pleasure to meet one of the greatest Superstars ever.
"My comments when he first walked in the room are probably not suitable for a PG audience!"
Enjoy the title, Charlie. You deserve it.
