50 Cent is officially part of the MMA world.

Bellator MMA has struck a partnership with the rapper who will fork out a $1 million, in cash, to the promotions Welterweight Grand Prix winner.

A press release stated the following: "A passionate and knowledgeable MMA fan, Jackson has already agreed to re-invest a portion of his deal by offering one million dollars in cash to the winner of the upcoming Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix that will air exclusively on DAZN."

The man himself then posted a video on Twitter, confirming the deal accompanied with the words: "lm gonna put up a million cash of my own money up for the Winner of the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix. #DAZN #Bellator #lecheminduroi."

As well as Fiddy's moolah, the deal also includes a new apparel line which will feature his popular 'Get the Strap' trademark.

Not to mention incorporating 50's champagne brand, Le Chemin du Roi, into future events.

The American businessman is planning to move into fighter management, too.

"Bellator has a roster filled with some of the most charismatic athletes in the world," he said.

"As my relationship with Bellator deepens, you will see me moving into fighter management opportunities that will allow me to integrate top stars into both scripted and unscripted projects across the Viacom networks, as well as the other outlets I have access to."

The Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix will crown a Bellator Welterweight champion, and it features some of the best 170lb'ers.

Douglas Lima, Andrey Koreshkov, Paul Daley, Michael Page, Neiman Gracie, Ed Ruth, Rory MacDonald and Jon Fitch are all vying for gold.

So, a world title and $1 million in cash for the tournament victor. Not bad.
