Introducing UFC Strawweight Contender Alexandra Albu

Introducing UFC women's strawweight Alexandra "Stitch" Albu. The 115lbs contender made a successful UFC debut by submitting Izabela Badurek improving her professional record to 2-0 as the 26-year-old continues to make a name for herself.

Despite being relatively unknown among the MMA community, her ability to fight as well as her killer looks she'll no doubt become a household name soon enough especially if she continues to provide social media activity like this:

Though after making her Octagon bow back in April 2015 she's been away from the cage following several injuries which prompted surgery then an extensive spell on the sideline for the recovery period.

Not to mention her other endeavours such as finishing her last year in University. Needless to say, she's been a busy women juggling her training, fighting career and school work.

Her current record reads 2-0 which would suggest a lack of experience in the sport yet she's fought another four times in Thailand but she claims "it was not easy to find the data from those tournaments and enter them into the official record."

With a further four fights left on her contract expect Albu to make a splash in the deep talent pool that is the strawweight division.

A potential clash with division champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk may still be far away but it's a mouth-watering prospect. We can't wait for her step back inside the famed Octagon.
