Talks surrounding the mega-clash between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather remain incessant but it appears both parties are actually serious about making the bout a reality.
Negotiations are in the public domain following their back-and-forth exchanges which included a series of messages from Mayweather refuting that the fight was finalised, while telling him to sort out his end with the UFC.

The Irishman keeps fueling speculation by uploading footage of him tuning up on his boxing from his base at the Straight Blast Gym as well as in Las Vegas.
(Will the billion dollar fight happen?)
But a few days removed from the initial reports surfacing alleging the fight had been agreed, McGregor has taken to social media - once again - and demanded a £100 million in typical McGregor-fashion.
It appears his trip to the States wasn't only to iron out a contract but to also clear up his situation with the Nevada State Athletic Commission following his bottle-gate incident with Nate Diaz prior to UFC 202.
And that's just the first meeting with NSAC. The UFC lightweight king will also stand in front of a panel as he applies for his boxing license to allow him to box in the state of Nevada, after receiving his license in California.
Once those are smoothed over, then the real talks between 'The Money Team' and UFC can begin! Interesting times ahead. Watch this space.
