Paulie Malignaggi Spits On Artem Lobov During Face-Off, Tries To Hit Him With Microphone

It's official. Paulie Malignaggi will come up against Artem Lobov on June 22nd at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships in Florida.

Ahead of the bout next month, both fighters went face to face on Monday afternoon and things got heated, to say the least.

Malignaggi, who has history with Lobov's training partner Conor McGregor, attempted to hit his opponent with a microphone, as well as appearing to spit at the Russian fighter as they stood beside each other.

Footage soon emerged of the incident as tempers flared.

It's no secret that Malignaggi dislikes Lobov, and he revealed earlier that he is "looking forward to sinking his fists" into the 32-year-old's face when they meet in a Bare Knuckle bout:

"It's no secret, Artem and I have some bad blood between us." he said via BadLeftHook.

"I don't like him and I'm looking forward to sinking my fists into his face. June 22 can't come soon enough.

"Fans are going to really enjoy this one as the biggest BKFC card yet, and it'll set the stage for even bigger and better events as more fighters realize that they can make a good living and have a great career in this discipline of combat sports."

It also sounds like Lobov is also eager to make his mark on the fight:

"I'm really looking forward to this fight. Paulie has been doing a lot of talking. He hasn't been able to keep his mouth shut, but on June 22 I'm going to silence him." he said.

"He's an old boxer who's coming off of the couch. He's only doing this because he didn't manage his money better, so now he has to take a fight against me, 'The Russian Hammer.' I expect to maul Paulie in there.

"He doesn't know what he's in for. I'm going to introduce him to some things that he's never seen before and this is going to be a real fight."

Who will win this bout?
